Lately, Legado Del Fantasma has been having a rough time in NXT. Santos Escobar was able to defeat Jordan Delvin in a ladder match to become the Undisputed Cruiserweight Champion, but then lost the belt to KUSHIDA. Meanwhile, MSK defeated both the Grizzled Young Veterans & the duo of Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza. This all led to them attacking KUSHIDA last week, and after MSK came to his aid? We have a hectic six man tag team match tonight.

KUSHIDA started with Wilde, who went right for a takedown before KUSHIDA got hold of his arm. Wilde countered out and took a moment to taunt, before being taken down by KUSHIDA. MSK got quick tags, before Wes Lee got taken into the corner of Legado in the blink of his eyes.

Mendoza hit a spinebuster with Wilde in the middle of the ring before tagging Wilde back in, before Lee hit a dropkick to the jaw. Carter tagged in, hit a high kick before applying a Muta Lock, as KUSHIDA got a tag and hit a sliding dropkick. Wilde went to the apron, and was taken down by a handspring kick, sending him into the arms of his faction.

During the break, Carter was met by Escobar in the ring, who picked him apart with precise strikes and submission skills. He might not be the champion, but he is still among the top of the division. This fight slipped to the outside, and Carter slammed Escobar off the announce desk, before losing control back in the ring.

Back from the break, Escobar would be applying an armbar before switching to just snapping the arm back. Carter was fully isolated in Legado’s corner, but a swift inside cradle almost got his team the win at the expense of Wilde. He couldn’t gain advantage however, as Legado kept the ring cut in half.

Legado Del Fantasma Picked Their Targets Apart

Wilde got a near fall off a suplex, before Escobar tagged in and went back after the arm of Carter. Carter would finally get free off a back suplex counter, and KUSHIDA got the tag. He’d clean house by dropping Mendoza with a dropkick and right hand, and MSK hit the shoving moonsault for a near fall.

KUSHIDA spread the ropes for MSK to hit a dive to the outside, before Escobar powerbombed KUSHIDA through the announce table. Carter was taken out on the outside, being thrown into the steel steps and now Wes Lee was all alone.

Lee would be caught with a perfectly placed dropkick from Wilde, before Legado picked him apart. They’d nail running lariats and knee strikes in the corner, before he’d be dropped with a suplex and Wilde hit a moonsault for a two count. Lee took out Wilde off the apron, sent Mendoza outside, and dodged a splash from Escobar.

He survived until Carter got back to the apron, and was able to make the tag. Carter hit some strikes on Legado, before KUSHIDA slipped into the ring and was planted with the Phantom Driver. In the middle of the ring, Wilde & Mendoza hit the russian leg sweep/enzuguri combo on Carter, for the win. In the end, the chemistry of Legado was too much.
