As the NXT UK Women’s division gets some major names like Meiko Satomura, Emila McKenzie, Stevie Turner and more, you need to fight harder and harder to get to Kay Lee Ray for a title shot. Even someone like Jinny risks being once again lost in the shuffle. Dani Luna is going to have an even harder time getting noticed as an undercard talent, but a win tonight would certainly help her out. A recent showing against Satomura showed that she belongs here, but Jinny has recorded wins over Satomura in the UK.
Jinny Makes Quick Work Of Dani Luna
They’d lock up to start, and Luna used her power to grab the waist of Jinny and slam her down. Jinny got free and slapped Luna before taking refuge in the ropes. After Luna rushed in to attack Jinny and was pulled off by the referee due to her being in the ropes? Jinny attacked. Luna was taken to the mat, and Jinny grabbed wrist control before kicking her in the head a few times.
She’d use the wrist control to look for the Iron Octopus, Luna having to fight free using her power but the damage was done. Luna was fought down to the mat and Iron Octopus was reapplied, with even more torque on the right shoulder. Jinny was fought off once again and Luna blocked the rolling Liger kick, and hit some deadlift gutwrench suplexes.
Post-Match Beatdown Time!
A brainbuster dropped Jinny for a two count, and a slap to the face just fired Luna up. Joseph Conners ran a distraction at ringside, and Jinny quickly took advantage. A ripcord Liger Kick would be followed by a cradle pinfall, getting Jinny the win in this match.
After the match was over, Jinny and Conners kept attacking her, and Flash Morgan Webster & Mark Andrews made the save. Will Conners find a partner to face the former NXT UK Tag Team Champions? Will Jinny get a chance to become NXT UK Women’s Champion soon? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
