Teoman started off his NXT UK career with an easy win over Danny Jones, and tonight he’s got Jones closest ally in NXT UK. Josh Morrell is still looking for that signature win to get his career started, but he’s gonna need a lot of luck to find that tonight. Teoman is being propped up as a major contender, being hyped up as someone on the level of WALTER or Ilja Dragunov due to their pasts together, and wins will help him prove that status.
Josh Morrell Isn’t The Only One With A Lot Of Speed
Teoman would start off quick by attacking the arm of Morrell with a wrist lock. Morrell tried to use his speed to break free, and was successful. Teoman was taken off his feet with a running dropkick, before Morrell went for a front headlock. He’d be taken into the corner by Teoman, who forced the break and took the cheap shot.
Teoman showed that he’s agile as well, tripping up Morrell and nailing a basement dropkick to the side of the head. Morrell would have his ankles stomped, and try to fight back before being cut down with a kick to the stomach. Teoman rushed in with a forearm shot across the jaw of Morrell, before applying a neck crank.
Teoman Shows Some More Aggression
Morrell fought back to his feet, but Teoman hit a handspring back elbow to send him back to the mat. Keeping control, Teoman would just throw some heavy forearms, before Morrell came back with one of his own before hitting a hip toss right into the cover for a two count. Teoman nailed the open hand chop, but got rolled up for a two count.
Morrell went for a standing moonsault, but Teoman got the knees up to block. A basement dropkick to the knee took Morrell down, before Teoman hit a missile dropkick to the back of the neck. Teoman hit some running double stomps before applying the crossface to win.
