Wild Boar made a mistake in NXT UK when he let down Eddie Dennis. The Hunt was set for a falls count anywhere brawl with Mark Andrews & Flash Morgan Webster. But when it came time for the match, he allowed himself to be taken out of the match by his opponents, and Eddie Dennis had to step into the ring and took a beating for it.
Because of this, Wild Boar was ‘taken care of’ by Dennis, and now Primate has a new tag team partner in Tyson T-Bone, who would be wise to not piss Eddie Dennis off. They start their tag team journey today, as they face Danny Jones & Josh Morrell.
Josh Morrell & Danny Jones Look Ready
Morrell & Jones were already in the ring as this new version of The Hunt hit the ring. Eddie Dennis was at their side like expected. Wild Boar & Primate were a deadly team, but we’ll see how T-Bone fits in, will he listen to Dennis?
T-Bone would start with Morrell, and missed a big punch before Morrell applied a headlock. He’d be shoved into the corner and take a clubbing blow, before T-Bone chucked him across the ring. Primate got a tag and hit a quick snap belly to belly suplex into the corner.
Fast tags from Primate & T-Bone showed some solid chemistry, before T-Bone made the choice to throw Morrell into his corner to get a tag from Jones. Jones mainly made his name pre-WWE in tag team matches for All Japan Pro Wrestling, but took a heavy big boot to the side of the head and was dumped down with a back suplex.
Tyson T-Bone & Primate Show Their Chemistry
Primate tagged back in and took a boot to the face before launching Jones with a back body drop. T-Bone tagged in and hit some clubbing blows, but Jones stayed in the match by kicking out. A double scoop slam from Primate & T-Bone showed some basic tag team chemistry.
Jones slipped away from Primate and hit a backstabber before tagging the high flying Josh Morrell. Morrell dropped Primate with a dropkick before hitting a standing twisting body press. Primate showed Morrell a back elbow in response, before T-Bone tagged in and hit a backbreaker and fallaway slam for a near fall.
Morrell was thrown to the outside for Primate to slam him, and sent right back into the ring for T-Bone to pin him. He kicked out, and tagged in Jones who took Primate off the apron with a dropkick before taking a Knee Trembler from T-Bone and a running powerslam. Primate dove in with a headbutt for the win.
Will T-Bone & Primate work their way to an NXT UK Tag Team Championship shot? Will Wild Boar re-emerge in the coming weeks? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
