When WWE Smackdown Results came back from commercial, Edge was sitting in the middle of a darkened ring.
He said how he went to WrestleMania 6 when Hulk Hogan face the Ultimate Warrior and he knew then what he wanted to do for the rest of his life.
He said he has to manifest his dreams but doubted most would understand the common sense.
He added that he wants to end his career on his terms and that it’s not enough after he fought back to get what was ripped away from him.
He didn’t forge another career off of it as it’s what he wanted to do, so he fought and pulled his career back.
Edge takes what’s his
Edge didn’t come back for a greatest hits tour but to main event WrestleMania. He missed nine of them and he won’t apologize for his ambition.
He then called out Daniel Bryan for saying this could be his last WrestleMania and for using sympathy to weasel his way into Edge’s match.
Edge then did his typical whine about Bryan listing ways for him to go for the Universal Championship and called Bryan an indie book store clerk.
He then called out Roman Reigns for acting like he created this and Edge said if anything, Reigns owes him.
He pointed out how he entered the WWE as part of the three man group, entered through the crowd, and uses a spear like him.
He then called the fans that chant Yes! lemmings like the ones that used to chant What?
Edge went on about how Bryan gets all the sympathy while he hasn’t received the respect he deserves and that he shouldn’t have to jump through hoops.
He came back from what no one else has done with his triple fusion and said he’s competing at a level that no one has ever done with his type of injury and calling him a part timer is a slap in the face.
He said he’ll take the respect he deserves and he’s the next Universal Champion because he dreamt it and now he’ll manifest it.
Backstage, Adam Peaerce and Sonya Deville were talking about Edge, Bryan and Reigns and she said how it wasn’t fair that Roode and Ziggler should’ve defended their titles against 3 other teams.
She added she thinks the Universal Championship match should be one on one instead of a triple threat.
Banks is the B-E-S-T
Kayla Braxton interviewed Sasha Banks backstage and asked her what her response is to Belair’s comments.
Banks said she doesn’t care what Belair has to say and that Belair and everyone else listens to what she says.
She said she’s the best and she wants Belair’s best at WrestleMania and she’ll give it back to her Boss style when she makes her tap out.
She named herself the B-E-S-T and Smackdown Women’s Championship.
Zayn’s antics
Sami Zayn interrupted Logan Paul’s training session, and then was a little agitated when he was locked out of Paul’s building.
Zayn went at the commentators about using that footage and how they didn’t show Logan Paul tearing into his security guards for that oversight or apologizing.
He claimed they had breakfast together, but then fumbled it when he was asked what Paul had for breakfast.
Kevin Owens ambushed Zayn and went for a stunner but Zayn took off and promised to see Zayn at WrestleMania. This is one match WWE Smackdown Results can’t wait to see.
