Last night, Tamina & Natalya were able to win the Tag Team Turmoil match by coming in last to take out fan favorites, Ruby Riott & Liv Morgan. Tamina got the final blow with the Superfly Splash. Now, they get a chance to become the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions as they face Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax. Jax & Tamina were once a tag team so know each other well, and if anyone can match Baszler in submissions, it’s Natalya. This one isn’t an exciting match on paper, but could be a sleeper hit.

Shayna Baszler Wants To Break Natalya’s Ankle

They were eager to get into it, and Natalya would start against Baszler, and they’d show how matched they are in grappling. Baszler got a headlock takeover, but was shoved off just to hit a shoulder block. Natalya tripped Baszler up and went for the Sharpshooter, but Baszler slipped to the ropes and broke the hold.

Jax tagged in and demanded Tamina, before they’d trade headbutts in the middle of the ring. Tamina got the best of Jax, before tagging in Natalya. Natalya & Tamina got a double back body drop on Jax, before suplexing Baszler onto her partner. Baszler got an inside cradle for a two count, before Natalya tagged Tamina.

Tamina took control, before Natalya launched Baszler into a superkick. Natalya would get a knee to the jaw in the ring, as Jax & Tamina brawled on the outside. Tamina got hit with a scoop slam, as the champs really found their rhythm. Baszler would bend and stomp the ankle of Natalya, trying for a break.

Jax would tag in and start working over the ankle herself, and Natalya did her best to fight. Natalya got isolated, as Tamina was still taken out on the outside after the scoop slam. Jax hit one on Natalya in the ring, sending her into the corner where she dodged a shoulder tackle.

Tamina Gives Her Best Performance Ever

She’d try to fire up off the crowd, but get dropped with a powerbomb. Tamina was back just in time to break the pinfall up, and needed to get a tag. Natalya got her partner in, and she’d hit a running slam, before blocking the kick of Baszler into a Dragon Screw. Tamina had her ankle bent in the corner, but she was fought off.

The Kirafuda Clutch would be blocked, Tamina setting up the Superfly Splash but was caught on the top rope. Jax went up for a superplex, before Natalya made the save. She’d instead come off the top with a crossbody onto both Natalya & Tamina. This got a two count, and the crowd was actually chanting for Tamina.

Tamina would be mocked by Jax who claimed to run this show and called herself King Kong, before being slammed by Tamina for a two count. She’d go up top, and manage to fly with the Superfly Splash! It took too long, and Jax was able to roll out of the way. Natalya got the tag before being met by Baszler. Baszler was legal and Natalya didn’t realize, and looked to put Jax in the Sharpshooter.

Natalya got it locked in, and Baszler came in to trap Natalya with the Kirafuda Clutch to win! The reign of Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax keeps on going! Should Tamina & Natalya have won? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
