Tonight could be the end of The Inner Circle. The faction was formed around then AEW World Champion Chris Jericho on the first episode of AEW Dynamite, and has been the top faction of AEW ever since. Atleast, until MJF unveiled his faction of The Pinnacle. Since then, they’ve taken out The Inner Circle in Blood & Guts, and Jericho still has an injured elbow from that encounter. Tonight, they clash again in the second ever Stadium Stampede match, and if The Inner Circle loses? They’re done forever.

The Inner Circle Know How To Make An Entrance

MJF & The Pinnacle arrived at TIAA Bank Field in a limo to cut a promo on Jericho before the match, as Inner Circle rappelled down the sky board and a giant Inner Circle logo with Judas blasting. If this is how they go out, they’re doing it as stars. MF retreated to his limo with the rest of The Pinnacle arriving in FTR’s truck.

The fight finally began with Pinnacle getting the ambush. Everyone split off into brawls, but Spears & Guevara got into the ring to finally have the bell ring. Hager almost burned Wardlow with a fire barrel, and Guevara hit a springboard cutter and running boot to the face of Wardlow. A shooting star press missed, and Spears hit a Blue Thunder Bomb.

MJF finally left the limo but Jericho was waiting for him. They’d brawl it out, Jericho having one arm in a cast. Santana & Ortiz brawled into the stands with FTR, and MJF used a fire extinguisher on Jericho before running away. MJF would be chased to the back by Jericho and get his head stuck in the garbage.

Jericho got coffee in his eyes, and hit with a landline. MJF got sandwiched with cookie sheets and then pinned into a concrete wall with a table. Jericho & MJF brawled into a Jagugars office, where a Dell Laptop was weaponized. MJF was launched over a rail through a table, and Jericho was just getting started.

    Elsewhere In This Insane Match

MJF finally punched the hurt arm, before Jericho used a white board to slap MJF and threw a trash can at him. They’d brawl into a room, and elsewhere Wardlow and Hager were brawling and Wardlow tried to lock Hager into a freezer. Hager fought out, and they’d both end up in the freezer.

Wardlow was dropped with a Head & Arm triangle, but Hager couldn’t trap him. Hager was shoved into a steel box, and punched out but kept getting up. They’d break through some drywall, and Hager was finally down. Guevara was hunting down Spears, who was in a room of steel chairs looking like a D-list Batman Villain.

Spears would take Guevara down before running him to a wall where Guevara used his insane agility to take control. Guevara was finally caught and lawn darted into a steel door. Bolt cutters were grabbed, but Spears likes his steel chairs too much. Guevara hit a knee strike, but was thrown into a scissor lift.

Spears wanted to strangle Guevara with some cables, and Guevara was faster with the same idea. Guevara wanted to climb and dive onto Spears, but had a ladder shoved into his head. Spears was handcuffed to a rack, and he was done. That’s two Inner Circle members incapicitated… until Guevara found the bolt cutters.

Santana & Ortiz found FTR & Tully at a nightclub and started beating up everyone. They all had a shot, and Konnan was the DJ. He’d put on the Proud and’ Powerful’ theme song, and this became an all out brawl. Konnan stopped Tully, and a gut punch took him out. Beer Bottles were thrown, and they’d brawl into the elevators.

    Back To Daily’s Place

Wardlow would hit Hager with a palette, and they’d brawl onto a golf cart. Hager chokeslammed him through a wooden stack holding garbage bags. Catching up with Jericho & MJF, they would brawl through the offices and use a cutout of Tony Khan’s dad as a weapon. Jericho’s bad arm was stomped onto a desk, but found a stapler and stapled a thank you note to MJF”s head and yanked it off.

MJF hit a piledriver on the table, and actually went for a pinfall for a two count. A hammer was grabbed by MJF, and he’d go for the bad arm and Jericho fought him off before finding his favorite baseball bat and nailing MJF in the head. MJF was thrown through some glass, and was busted open.

Spears found the Inner Circle motorcycle club and was chased into an office, as Jericho drug MJF back to Daily’s Place. MJF was bloody and got crotched onto a steel rail, before MJF tried to throw Jericho into the crowd below. Jericho set up a powerbomb through a table. Guevara had a golf cart and ran down Spears, getting them back to the arena.

They’d get into the ring and Spears hit a chair shot as Guevara flew through the air, and that got a two count. Another chair shot was coming, and Guevara was defiant to the end and took it proud and kicked out at two. Spears set up a chair in the corner to repeat the debut of The Pinnacle, but Guevara nailed GTH as a response before firing up and stomping the head of Spears into the chair. He went up top, and hit the 630 Senton for the win!

This was mostly cinematic, meaning it won’t get a proper rating. However as a wild fun pro wrestling brawl, this was fun as hell. This was the last cinematic match we are likely to see with fans back, and was a great way to go out. The Inner Circle survived and Guevara was the one to save them. It was perfect for what it was.

What is next for The Inner Circle after this huge win? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
