Hello and welcome to WWE Raw Live Results!
This should be a fun episode as Bobbly Lashley will respond to Kofi Kingston and Drew McIntyre after their joining forces to defeat him last week.
Plus, Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax are challenged Natalya and Tamina for the Women’s Tag Team Championship after Baszler forced Natalya to tap out on Friday’s WWE Smackdown.
We’ll be back at 8 p.m. EST to get WWE Raw Live Results off and running, and we’ll see you then!
Segment 1
Like last week, MVP started it off and introduced Bobby Lashley.
Drew McIntyre then came out wanting a rematch of a rematch, and Kofi Kingston followed and he called McIntyre out for having so many chances.
So, Adam Pearce made a match coming up next between Kingston and McIntyre with the winner facing Lashley at HIAC. Kingston should win this. Just saying.
Segment 2
Drew McIntyre vs. Kofi Kingston w/Xavier Woods with Bobby Lashley and MVP sitting on the ramp.
This started off with them feeling each other out and they were evenly matched between McIntyre’s power and Kingston’s athleticism.
But then McIntyre hit an Alabama Slam onto the ring apron from the floor as we headed to commercial.
Segment 3
McIntyre controlled most of the action but Kingston had a few moments. One was a crossbody off the top rope McIntyre rolled through and hit a Mishinoku Driver for a near pinfall.
McIntyre motioned for Lashley to come to the ring, and Lashley headed down as we went to a commercial break.
Segment 4
Lashley and MVP were at ringside, and a solid match ended in a DQ win for Kingston after Lashley came in and attacked McIntyre after Kingston knocked McIntyre into him.
Kingston hit Lashley with a Trouble in Paradise and McIntyre nailed a Claymore to force Lashley out of the ring.
Anyone wanna bet it’ll be a triple threat at HIAC now?
Segment 5
2 Minute Challenge – Rhea Ripley vs. Nikki Cross
All Nikki had to do was survive the 2 minute clock or beat Ripley in that time period. Nikki was aggressive and pissed Ripley off enough that she lost track of time and the clock reached 0 while she hammered away on Nikki.
Segment 6
Charlotte Flair vs. Asuka
This started off pretty even until Flair countered a Hip Attack with a chop block and went to work on Asuka’s injured left leg.
As we headed to commercial, Flair dropped Asuka knee first on the ring steps.
Segment 7
Flair continued to work on Asuka’s left leg, and Asuka fought back with a sliding knee on the apron, and Flair pulled her into the announce table as we headed to commercial.
Segment 8
This was an awesome match Flair won by rolling up Asuka for the pin when Asuka tried to lock in an Asuka Lock.
Segment 9
Shelton Benjamin vs. Cedric Alexander
Alexander talked a bunch of trash about Benjamin getting them kicked out of the Hurt Business and how Alexander is evolving and has his whole career ahead of him.
The bell rang and Alexander slipped to the floor as we headed to commercial.
Segment 10
Benjamin dominated most of the match, but Alexander stuck a thumb in Benjamin’s eyes and hit a Neuralizer for the win.
Segment 11
Riddle vs. Xavier Woods
This was another great back and forth as they exchanged holds. Riddle looked frustrated at times and could turn heel by the end of this.
Woods hit a Olympic Slam on the apron as we headed to commercial.
Segment 12
After Woods accidentally landed on his head off the top rope, Riddle hit an RKO for the win and then dedicated the win to Randy Orton.
Segment 13
AJ Styles vs. Jaxson Ryker
Ryker won by pinfall after Elias hit Styles with a knee on the floor and ducked into the time keeper’s area.
Omos ran out and chases Elias and Ryker up the ramp and knocked Elias into the LED board and broke it.
Segment 14
Sheamus vs. Humberto Carrillo
Sheamus dominated most of the match, but Carrillo had a comeback in him before Sheamus sat down and grabbed a handful of tights for the pin when Carrillo attempted a wheelbarrow.
Sheamus went after Carrillo afterwards, but Ricochet came to his rescue and after alternating aerial moves Ricochet hit a 450 splash to send Sheamus out of the ring.
Segment 15
Women’s Tag Team Championship – Natalya and Tamina (c) vs. Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler
This started out pretty even between them before Baszler and Jax got the best of Natalya, but Reginald came out despite Baszler’s decree he doesn’t and Natalya hit a release German suplex as we headed to commercial.
Segment 16
Baszler had Natalya pinned, but Reginald distracted the ref at the wrong time. Baszler sent him to the back and the pyros on the stage exploded, blinding him again.
Natalya rolled up Baszler for the win, and Baszler then grabbed Reginald and challenged him to a match next week.
This was a decent show once we got to Asuka and Flair’s match. The repetitiveness is getting rough but we don’t expect it to change any time soon.
