    WWE Raw Result (5/17) – Kofi Kingston Upsets Randy Orton with a Rollup Win; Alexa Bliss gives Tamina and Natalya an edge to defeat Nia Jax and Shayna Baszlerto Retain the Women’s Tag Titles; Sheamus Defeated Ricochet by Pinfall, then Teased a Challenge to Lashley

    WWE Raw Results returned as Randy Orton started it off by controlling the temp with a side headlock and take down, but Kofi Kingston responded with some speed and sent Orton to the floor after a hip attack.

    Back in the ring, Kingston continued to use his speed and athleticism to gain the upper hand and hit a slingshot splash for a near pinfall.

    Kingston then focused on his left arm with a wrist lock, but Orton’s craftiness came out with a poke to the eyes after he backed Kingston into a corner and he followed that with several uppercuts.

    After Orton worked over Kingston, Kingston got lose and hit a missile dropkick form the top rope but ran into a powerslam by Orton.

    Woods distracted Orton with his horn and Kingston rolled him up for the win.

    Well, that was cheap. Another roll up. Wish we were surprised.

    Riddle defended Orton by exchanging verbal jabs with Woods, and when Orton left Riddle went to follow him.

    Woods tried to stop Riddle and Riddle shoved him down.

    Championship arguments

    Backstage, Lana and Naomi and Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke argued with Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce over who should face the Women’s tag champions.

    Charlotte entered and Sonya said they’ll figure things out after the title match and that they have a private matter to discuss with Flair.

    Flair demanded a one on one match with Rhea Ripley

    When Pearce asked why she deserves a rematch, Flair said she didn’t lose. Deville said if she defeats Asuka, then they’ll see what they can do.

    Rhea Ripley said she wants new competition because Flair is yesterday’s news.

    Women’s Tag Team Championship – Tamina and Natalya (c) vs. Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler w/Reginald

    Nia Jax started it off by steamrolling Natalya, and Baszler went to work manipulating Natalya’s left arm.

    After surviving a vicious onslaught, Natalya tagged in Tamina and Jax took it to her in dominating fashion, but Tamina fought back.

    Bliss watched from ringside and fire exploded from the ring posts as Basaler locked in the Coquina Clutch, breaking the hold.

    Natalya hit a Hart Attack on Baszler for the win.

    Let the insults fly

    Adnan Virk called Sheamus the Ginger-Haired Juggernaut in response to Sheamus insulting him last week, and Sheamus called Ricochet out for messing with his property and demanded he come to the ring.

    Ricochet said he didn’t steal it as he ninja threw it at him, but he stole them this morning and put them on as Sheamus watched from the ring. Ricochet then mocked him before heading out.

    Sheamus vs. Ricochet

    Sheamus ran to the ramp to attack Ricochet, and Ricochet sidestepped him and headed to the ring.

    Ricochet went right after Sheamus, but Sheamus dropped him with a clothesline and proceeded to beat on him.

    Ricochet attempted a sleeper hold, but Sheamus threw him off and went to work and slammed Ricochet into the ring post as we headed to commercial.

    Ricochet didn’t give up as his heart and toughness kept him in the match to hammer Sheamus to his knees hit a Spanish Fly for a near pinfall

    Sheamus missed with a Brogue Kick and Ricochet hit a kick and a flying forearm on the floor after Sheamus rolled out of the ring to buy time.

    Sheamus hit a Brogue Kick after Ricochet slapped him.

    This was an awesome match and the best of the night so far.

    Afterwards, Sheamus said his other shoulder feels empty and he warned Lashley to keep his eyes out as he may take him up on his open challenge.

    Mace and T-Bar flipped a coin to see which of them will end Lashley’s reign. This is a better show than WWE Raw Results expected.
