WWE Smackdown Results returned as Owens started it off fast by nailed Crews with a clothesline and rights, then a cannonball and senton off the top rope for a near pinfall.
Owens nailed a superkick and a stunner but Azeez hit with a Nigerian Nail through the ropes for a DQ.
Well, this was a waste.
Owens appeared to be badly hurt from the Nigerian Nail.
Backstage, Reigns asked Jey about his and Jimmy’s match next week and if that’s what he wanted to do.
Jey nodded and Reigns asked what about telling Jimmy Jey’s with Reigns and then asked what about them?
He added that for months he’s helped him and made it about the family and now Jey is making it about Jey Uso and that they were relegated to the opening match.
Reigns said he doesn’t want him to go back to a place where people look at him and ask which one is he.
Jey said he wouldn’t have thought about it like that, and Reigns told him he should because Jimmy’s not thinking like that.
Shinsuke Nakamura w/Rick Boogs vs. Chad Gabe w/Otis
There was a scrum before the match started and Otis hit a slam on Nakamura, and when the bell rang, Gable it a pair of belly to belly suplexes.
Nakamura fought back and made a good showing, but while Gable kept him busy King Corbin came out and took back his crowd.
Nakamura hit Gable with a kinsasha for the win.
Boogs attacked Corbin from behind as he was about to crown himself, and Nakamura took the crown back.
Backstage, Owens was choking but demanded a championship match and Adam Pearce gave it to him and banned Azeez from ringside.
Smackdown Tag Team Championship – Rey and Dominic Mysterio (c) vs. The Dirty Dawgs (Robert Roode, Dolph Ziggler)
In the ring, Ziggler said if the Mysterios don’t come out they forfeit, and since Rey was injured backstage Dominik came out to face them in a handicap match.
Can @DomMysterio35 do the unthinkable and defend the #SmackDown #TagTeamTitles by himself against @HEELZiggler & @RealRobertRoode?!? pic.twitter.com/UnvgUTo8Tl

Dominik came right after Ziggler, but Ziggler hit a dropkick for a pin attempt.
Roode took his turn beating on Dominik as we watch the clock for Rey to come out late to help and Dominik makes a surprise rollup.
Ziggler worked over Dominik’s left hand and arm, and Roode tagged back in. Dominik tried to fight back and Roode hit with a reverse elbow and then a body slam.
Roode missed a knee drop, and Ziggler came in and hit a neckbreaker for a pin attempt.
Dominik fought both of them off and launched Ziggler over the top rope and then took both Dirty Dawgs out with a crossbody over the top rope.
Dominik threw Ziggler into the ring and set him up but missed a 619 and Ziggler hit a Famouser for a near pinfall.
A double team neckbreaker by the Dirty Dawgs led to another pin attempt and then Rey came out and Dominik took advantage and rolled up Roode for the win.
Well, that wasn’t a copy and paste much, right?
The Usos came out and stood across from the Mysterios in what looks to be billed as family against family.
This match should’ve been first on the card. They’re trying to build up Dominik, but when they use the exact same tactics but reversed it comes off as weak at best.
This was a rough episode that felt more thrown together at the last minute than not. What did you think of it? Let us know in the comments below and thank you for joining WWE Smackdown Results.
We had a great time hanging with you all and can’t wait until next week.
