The Inner Circle & The Pinnacle are going to fight forever at this rate. Last week the main event saw MJF face Sammy Guevara, and this week will see Wardlow & FTR take on Jake Hager, Santana & Ortiz. Fans have been waiting for FTR vs. Santana & Ortiz in a straight up tag team match, and this is the closest we’ve gotten yet. After FTR hit a big piledriver on Konnan, Santana & Ortiz are ready to tear them apart as well, so this one should be a fight.

Wardlow Shows The Power Of The Pinnacle

Santana & Harwood would start this match, and Santana nailed two thirds of the three amigos before switching to a release german suplex into the corner. Quick tags were made to have Ortiz become legal, and keep the pressure on. Harwood hit a chop to the throat and tagged in Wheeler, who caught Ortiz with a powerslam.

Wardlow tagged in and nailed a gutwrench powerbomb for a near fall. Harwood tagged in again and Ortiz would fight back with an STO before a Liger Bomb. He’d be leaned against the ropes for a kick from Santana, before Hager tagged in.

He’d run FTR down, showing more speed than we’ve ever seen from him in AEW, nailing a big Hager Bomb and taking Wheeler hard over the top with a lariat. Throughout the picture in picture break, Harwood got an opening with a stungun onto the top rope. Wardlow was tagged in, and once again would gain control.

The Pinnacle Claim The Win

FTR would lose that control off a huge cutter to Wheeler from Santana. Ortiz got into the ring, and cornered Wheeler for a flurry of attacks from Inner Circle including The Street Sweeper, which got a near fall. FTR used a blind tag and got Ortiz with a Dragon Suplex into a Prawn Hold, getting a two count.

Ortiz fired back with a brainbuster and got Hager in. He’d get an ankle lock on Wheeler but Harwood broke the hold until he got hit with a big boot. Hager called for Wardlow, and got his rival in the ring for some brawling.

Neither man would back down, and Hager got the ankle lock on Wardlow before FTR made the save. After a shot from behind from Wardlow. FTR would nail Big Rig, and Wardlow slipped into the pin to end this one.

After the bell, Konnan tried to attack Wardlow but was taken down once again by The Pinnacle. Will we see FTR vs. Santana & Ortiz soon? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
