Impact Wrestling Homecoming Preview is excited for this special. We have a special place in our hearts for tournaments ever since WrestleMania 4.
Tonight and for the first time, we get to see a cool mixed tag team tournament to announce the King and Queen of Homecoming.
We’ll also get a X-Division Championship match as Josh Alexander defends against Black Taurus and a Hardcore match between W. Morrissey and Eddie Edwards.

Without further ado, let’s get to the match and each team heading into Homecoming.
X-Division Championship – Josh Alexander (c) vs. Black Taurus
This is going to be a fun one as we’ll get to see a good mix of athleticism and power in Taurus matched against Alexander’s.
We’ve grown used to Alexander stealing the spotlight with match of the night caliber performances, and this won’t be any different as we’ll really get to see Black Taurus show his stuff as they take it to the limit.
We think Alexander will win, but this will be a don’t wanna miss match.
Hardcore Match – W. Morrissey vs. Eddie Edwards
Since Morrissey joined Impact Wrestling, he’s laid a path of destruction until he ran into Edwards.
Morrissey defeated Edwards at Slammiversary, but Edwards got the upper hand in a parking lot brawl when he sent Morrissey running.
Now, things will be settled with no disqualifications or count outs. This fits Edwards to a T, but Morrissey has had time to prepare for this and we expect a war.
We think Edwards will pull out the win in a brutally awesome match.
The teams
With most of the teams set, there are a couple that still have to find partners, and we can’t wait to see what surprises are instore for us tonight.
Matt Cardona and Chelsea Green
Since Green’s return at Slammiversary, the pair have been on a good run and have momentum on their side. Is it enough to see them through the tournament?
Rosemary and Crazzy Steve
This could be the most intimidating team in the tournament as Decay looks to had King and Queen to their championship collection.
“Little Petey Pump” Petey Williams and “Thicc Mama Pump” Jordynne Grace
This is a cool throwback to Petey’s run with Scott Steiner and the legend’s Big Poppa Pump and we can’t wait to see what they have in store for us tonight.
Tommy Dreamer and Rachael Ellering
This is a good mix of young and old as both are mainstays in professional wrestling and will be a fun team to watch.
Who’s teaming with Brian Myers and Deonna Purrazzo?
Myers managed to chase of Tenille Dashwood and get reamed by Francine, so he’s up against it now as he needs a partner.
Who will join him to try to capture Homecoming King and Queen glory?
There’s a couple of twists we see coming, and one is Sam Beale could try to pass himself off as a women to be Myers’ partner, but that’s highly doubtful.
Maybe he’ll team with Deonna Purrazzo?
The Virtuoso is looking for her own partner, and while we’d love to see two surprise partners, could they end up together?
Hernandez and Alisha Edwards
Swinger’s Palace will be represented by this duo and they should make things interesting as they have the skills to win out.
Fallah Bahh and Tasha Steelz
This is an unexpected pairing, but after Bahh asked Steelz to Homecoming with flowers, how could she say no?
This should be a fun duo. Between her speed and his power, they’re a match for any of the other teams.
One thing for sure is this is going to be a fun special. Who do you think will win the tournament and become Homecoming King and Queen?
