Prince William and Kate Middleton have not ruled out the possibility of sending their son Prince George to boarding school at some point in the future.
Prince William And Kate Middleton May Send Prince George To Boarding School
George, for his part, is 8-years-old and growing up very quickly. This can be seen through the manner in which he has taken to his Royal duties so well. Just recently, George was pictured at the Euro 2020 final that promised to be the first of many official duties.
And in order to prepare George for his future, his parents have considered boarding school. Any decision, though, would have to be agreed by George too. After all, he is at a crucial stage in his upbringing.
A source told Us Weekly: “Kate and William are open to sending George to boarding school in the future and have already checked out a few, but they feel 8 is a little young and want to wait until he’s slightly older.
“George going to school is a decision the Cambridges will make as a family. They’d never force George to go unless he wants to and they feel it’s right.” But by the looks of it, George is very keen on the idea.
He has reportedly settled into school life very well and has been a very popular student in class amongst the teachers. And yet, William and Kate will have to factor in the role of the pandemic too. Given that there is so much uncertainty at this time, it is not clear whether any such schools would be forced to close down due to covid.
Regardless of whatever happens, George is taking steps to learn as much as he can about his family’s history in readiness for his adult life. And by all accounts, George is loving every minute of it. Sources have confirmed as much: “William’s already explained his future role to him, and he loves learning about his family in history classes.
“William tries not to overwhelm him with too much information, but George is aware that there’s a lot more to being king than how the role is portrayed in Disney movies and children’s books.”
