The show opened with a tribute image to “Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorff who passed away earlier today. Thank you for the memories, Mr. Wonderful. You’ll be missed.
Xavier Woods w/Kofi Kingston vs. Bobby Lashley w/MVP
This should be a pretty good one if their HIAC match is anything to go by, and Lashley’s size and power dominated early on as he threw Woods around.
Woods stuck with it and hit a boot and senton for an early pin attempt Lashley shrugged off, and then pressed slammed Woods over the ropes and onto the ring apron.
Lashley followed out to the floor and press slammed Woods into the ring steps as we headed to commercial.
Back from commercial and they’re back in the ring with Lashley nailing Woods with several shoulders in the corner and then a running shoulder.

Woods countered a charge with a superkick and a tornado DDT to force Lashley to roll to the floor where Woods hit a dive over the ropes.
Woods hit a missile dropkick for a pin attempt and rolled into a crossface submission, but Lashley powered to his feet and slammed Woods to break the hold.
Lashley slammed Woods backwards, and then hit a Yurinagi and a face first slam and the threw him to the floor.
Lashley ran Woods into the ring post and threw him into the ring so he could hit a spear, but Woods rolled him up in a small package for the win.
Well, that was… yeah.
Lashley’s facing Kingston this weekend but Woods is the one getting the win? Maybe we’re missing something.
Backstage, MVP was asked about Lashley leaving the building and where ‘s gone, and MVP said yes, he left but it’s not the big deal they want to make it out to be.
He promised Lashley will be back for the VIP Lounge later tonight.

Alexa’s Playground
Alexa welcomed us and said how she’s excited about her Fatal 4 Way tonight and the MITB match next week and how much fun she could have if she gets the contract.
Eva Marie and Doudrop were there and Eva asked if she was going to introduce them.
Alexa loved Doudrop’s name and saying it and had a good chuckle as she and Doudrop bonded.
Eva took over the interview and said their success is all thanks to her. Alexa told her she was talking to Doudrop and Eva’s a surprise bonus.
Eva took offense at it and said it’s the last time she’ll set foot in the playground and then took a shot at Doudrop and walked off.
Doudrop waved by to Alexa as Alexa mocked Eva.
McIntyre gets even

Jinder Mahal was in the ring and admitted he may have taken things too far by taking Drew McIntyre’s sword, and said he knows how proud he is of his Scottish heritage.
He invited McIntyre to come out so he could apologize, shake his hand, and give him back his sword, but there was no hint of McIntyre.
McIntyre then appeared on the titantron and said he knows he’s a liar and demanded he get to the point.
Mahal said he had Veer and Shanky refinish his sword by breaking the blade and he apologized for it.
McIntyre said it’s a replica because you can’t show up on Raw with the real thing or it’ll be destroyed.
He held up the real sword, and then destroyed Mahal’s motorcycle by ripping it apart and bashing it with its own tail pipe before he kicked the motorcycle over.
No surprise for WWE Raw Results, but this was a pretty fun segment that harkened back to the Attitude Era.
