With Edge’s return, WWE Smackdown Preview are curious to see Roman Reigns’ reaction tonight, especially with a match between them for the Universal Championship looming for the MITB PPV.
Edge has made a habit of making surprise appearances since his return to wrestling, and it was a pretty cool moment that we didn’t see coming since his lose at WrestleMania.
But not Edge won’t be able to blame Daniel Bryan or anyone else if he fails at MITB, but that doesn’t mean he won’t have some awesomely fired up promo segments between not and then.
As for Reigns, we expect him to send Jimmy Uso to take care of Edge as has been the standard operating procedure, but chances are Edge will have something up his sleeve for that event.
Or Reigns could actually leave things be and address Edge directly, calling him a failure in his previous attempt. Edge will have something to say about that and we’re off in a promo battle.
Last Man Standing Match – Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn
Kevin Owens has been making a living out of being cheated lately, but it looks like he’s finally going to have his way and not be hindered by any rules when he gets ahold of Sami Zayn.
Of course, this is the WWE and something “unexpected” always happens, so we expect Zayn to work out a deal with Apollo Crews and Commander Azeez or someone else to help him sway the match.
Since there are no rules, it wouldn’t be beyond Zayn to even Owens to have someone waiting in the wings to give them a helping hand.
Speaking of Apollo Crews, there’s every chance that Big E will put in an appearance here as well if Crews pops up to refuel their feud for the Intercontinental Championship.
Bayley and Bianca Belair continues
With Bayley constantly in her ear, Belair’s going to try anything she can to finally be rid of Bayley and move on to another challenge.
Unfortunately, that’s going to be difficult because Bayley’s not going to want to give up on her quest to reclaim the Smackdown Women’s Championship.
What will Bayley have in store for Belair tonight? We’re sure it’s going to be an interesting to see what kind of shenanigans will unfold.
