Chris Jericho has been able to survive three intense matches set up by MJF. First was Shawn Spears in a one sided chairs match, second was a deathmatch with Nick Gage, and last week he faced Juventud Guerrera in a high flying affair. Tonight, he faces Wardlow in a singles match with MJF lurking right at ringside, to hopefully ensure he doesn’t have to face Jericho soon.
Wardlow Starts To Dismantle Jericho
Jericho dashed in fast to pummel Wardlow, before getting cornered with some big stomps. Wardlow would run into a big boot, and Jericho went up high to hit a Double Axe Handle and a Codebreaker for a one count. Jericho was shocked and got driven into the corner, before Wardlow chucked him across the ring. A big tossing suplex followed, before Jericho was hit with a clothesline to the outside.
Jericho was press slammed into the ring apron after his head was whacked off the post. Back in the ring, a massive powerbomb would drop Jericho, but Wardlow would go back for more damage. Jericho tried to counter, but was nailed with a second soon after. MJF was excited at ringside, and would get a chance to choke Jericho on the ropes. Yet another powerbomb, and Jericho could risk losing by stoppage if he can’t protect himself.
Chris Jericho Still Manages To Win
Jericho wouldn’t stay down, and rose for some chops, before taking yet another powerbomb. Things were looking bleak for Jericho, as Wardlow nailed yet another powerbomb. It was getting uncomfortable, as everyone lost count. The F-10 was next, and MJF told Wardlow to keep coming. Jericho was set up for the Causality of War Knee Strike, but Jericho countered into the Walls of Jericho!
However, MJF was sneaking around and raked the eyes of Jericho, before getting kicked out from ringside. Using this as a distraction, Jericho used Floyd to crack Wardlow, before nailing a Judas Effect for a dramatic win. The Inner Circle member Sammy Guevara would protect Jericho after the bell from The Inner Circle, but MJF, Wardlow & Shawn Spears were too much. MJF got the Salt of The Earth locked in, but Hager made the save.
MJF would finally give the stipulation. There will be no Judas Effect elbow, and no entrance music for fans to sign along too. If he uses the move, Jericho loses on the spot. Can Jericho defeat MJF next week? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
