‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to get things going again with some spoilery goodies.
Few things are more entertaining than a Newman family argument, and we won’t be disappointed this time around.
We’ll also get a touching scene and a fun one between Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) that screams battle lines being drawn.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, August 17: Drawing a line
It was only a matter of time before Nikki and Sally crossed paths, and Nikki won’t waste any time in making sure she’s understood what she’ll do when it comes to her family.

Of course, ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers think this is going to come about because Sally will be looking to get even with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) through Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
Few things will set Nikki off more than an implied threat from someone toward her family, and she’ll put Sally on notice that she’s not that different than Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) when it comes to dealing with threats.
Sally would be wise to listen, and we think she’ll adjust her plan accordingly.
Not that it’d work since Nick is fully up to speed about her, but theirs is the possibility that Nick and Phyllis will use it to trap Sally.
We can see something like this happening where Phyllis attempts to destroy her for good.
The only problem is we don’t see Nick going along with this type of idea, so would Phyllis do it without him knowing.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, August 17: Make peace
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) aren’t going to let go of their rivalry anytime soon, and Victor has had enough of it.
He’s going to demand that they call a truce and stop antagonizing each other.
We assume this will come after he catches them either bickering of Adam planning something in retaliation for what Victoria did or could do.
Of course, we can’t ignore the fact that Victor has pitted his children against each other their entire lives to sharpen their skills and earn his respect.
The rat race eventually has consequences, and when one of the said children is an outsider like Adam it’s only worse.
Adam’s spent years trying to overthrow Victor and prove he belonged to the family and he’s burned a few bridges over the years.
Will Adam and Victoria do what they’re told or will another Newman war break out?
