‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to get rolling with some fun spoilery goodies.
It looks like Genoa City’s going to have a little action going on as one storyline looks to be entering the final stretch and others are wrapping up.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, August 18: Out with the old
This has potential to be an entertaining segment as it looks like Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is going to send someone packing, and we think it’s going to be Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).
There will be few things that will give Phyllis more amusement than booting the other redhead out of the Grand Phoenix.
If this is the direction they decide to go, it’ll open a few potential storylines involving Sally and where she could go.
One option could be Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will come across her and offer to let her stay at the Chancellor estate until she finds another place.
It’ll be a great chance for the two of them to collaborate on their plans and designs and neither one will want to miss the opportunity.
The other is that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will see her and when he finds out what happened he’ll think it’s harsh and invite her to stay at the Abbott’s house until he gets back.
This feels like a good possibility despite being a long show because we don’t think the two of them are through yet.
They’re too much fun together and we think they’ll find their way back to each other at some point.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, August 18: The promise
Even if he misses running into Sally, Jack’s going to have a full schedule as he’s going to be heading to Italy to take his grandson to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
Before he does, he’s going to have a talk with Ashland Locke (Richard Burghi). This will mainly be because Ashland will want to see Harrison before he leaves, but there will be more to it.
More than that, we think they’ll have a discussion about the future and what it holds and the two of them will grow their respect for each other.
They may even begin becoming friends while they’re bonding, and somewhere in here Jack will make a promise to Ashland that his son will always have a family he belongs to and they’ll always look out for him.
It’ll be a comfort Ashland will appreciate as he says his goodbyes to his son for the time being.
