Even though Kendall skipped out on the shoot because of covid-19, it could still cost her $1.8 million. Italian fashion brand, Liu Jo claims said that the supermodel “breached the agreement” of their contract. Kendall had earlier signed a contract to work with the company and to appear in their ad campaign.

Fans know that the Kardashian- Jenner sisters including Kendall got to travel during the pandemic, but somehow, the pandemic stopped her from showing up for the shoot. The Italian fashion brand sued the KUWTK star for $1.8 million for allegedly skipping out on the photoshoot. It’s uncertain whether the supermodel didn’t notify them that she would miss the shoot.
She signed for two photoshoots, but she showed up for one. According to the brand, they “suffered considerable financial harm and damages” because she didn’t show up. Now it seems the model will have to pay. Kendall appeared in their F/W 21-22 shoot. Since she didn’t show up, they lost $1.8
The court documents states that Liu Jo claims they paid the supermodel $1.35 million for the shoot that she did not show up to. So, she “breached the agreement by failing to meet her obligations.” Even though the brand was yet to pay her, she is expected to fork over the money.
The brand has worked with a number of high-profile models in the past and they never experienced this with any of them. Kendall Jenner has caused controversy before with her career. Some super models think the KUWTK star doesn’t work as hard as they do. Even critics have said that she landed her career because of her momager, Kris Jenner.
Kendall Jenner Seems Unbothered
The supermodel seems to be unbothered by the lawsuit as she takes to Instagram to post about her 818 Tequila brand and her Vogue Spain cover shoot. The KUWTK star had previously talked about her struggles with anxiety while modelling.
Fans will recall that Earlier this year, the supermodel revealed in a video series with Vogue that her anxiety was so bad in 2016. She explained that she would “wake up in the middle of the night with full-on panic attacks.” The anxiety came on after her big sis, Kim Kardashian’s burglary during Paris Fashion Week. Kendall uses marijuana to treat her anxiety.
