Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s CBS interview with Oprah Winfrey changed the nature of the Royal family for ever.
Leaked Document Shows Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Real Feelings Towards The Royals
The controversial interview highlighted just how much of a disconnect there was to new arrivals in the institution, as shown by Meghan’s revelations. She claimed that her son Archie was subject to racially insensitive remarks, as there were concerns over the colour of his skin.
Not only that, but Meghan admitted that she was driven to the thought of suicide because of the intense media scrutiny she was being put under.
And yet, a leaked document from the couple’s alleged biography shows that they may have taken things a step further by naming the person who had made the reported racist remarks, according to a source.
But that was not the only thing the document suggested. It also made further claims about Meghan’s decision to not attend Prince Philips funeral. At the time of the funeral, some members of the public felt that Meghan was out of order for not attending.
This was because she had left Harry to deal with the stress of it all, even though she was in part responsible for the strain due to her role in the interview. The Royals, though, were happy to see her absent.
The document remarked: “Members of the Royal Family were ‘quietly pleased’ that the Duchess of Sussex missed Prince Philip’s funeral because they feared she would ‘create a spectacle’ if she attended.”
In addition, the document also highlighted the double standards that the pair felt were being applied. During the time of Harry and Meghan’s interview, there were also accusations that Meghan was bullying members of the Royal staff.
So much so, that they were apparently driven to the edge of tears. However, the investigation into Meghan’s claims were not taken seriously.
The document stated: “It criticises the monarchy after courtiers ordered an inquiry into claims of bullying against the duchess while the couple’s allegations of racism did not receive the same treatment.”
This has left many people wondering, was the CBS interview worth it in hindsight? After all, it cannot be taken back now. Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
