This past weekend was a huge one for Ring of Honor. They packed fans into the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for two incredible nights of action with Glory By Honor. However, this week’s episode of ROH TV was from the tapings back in the Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena in Baltimore, Maryland. We had two quarter final matches from the ROH World Women’s Championship tournament, as well as a No DQ brawl between two former allies in Rey Horus & Demonic Flamita.
Two Ladies Punch Tickets To Semi-Finals Action
We’d see the start of Quarter Final action in the ROH Women’s World Championship tournament on this episode. Quinn McKay was a fan favorite after a passionate win over Mandy Leon in the first round. However, when met wrestling prodigy Rok-C in the quarter finals, she was truly put to test. She gave another great performance, but Rok-C is on another level and would push to the semifinals. She will face the winner of Angelina Love & Max The Impaler next.
The second tournament match saw Miranda Alize take on veteran grappler Nicole Savoy. This was as evenly matched as a tournament match could get, with both proving they could have been tournament victors. However, Alize was able to get the edge in the end, and put Savoy down. She will meet the winner of Allysin Kay vs. Trish Adora in the semi finals.
Demonic Flamita Is Quickly Rising Through The Ranks
The main event would see a no DQ war between Demonic Flamita & Rey Horus. For months now, Flamita has been making life hell for Horus & Bandido, even nearly costing Bandido his chance at winning Survival of The Fittest chances after his early elimination in the match. However tonight, Horus was in his sights for a match that could have taken a spot on Glory by Honor. It was fantastic, brutal, and one worth seeking out: but Flamita claimed the win.
At Glory By Honor, Demonic Flamita would show that this win was no fluke, as he climbed into the ROH World Championship rankings by winning Six Way Mayhem. He’d beat down Bandido after his match against Flip Gordon, and is set to be in the main event of Death Before Dishonor in a Four Way Elimination match.
