The second week of Rampage is being teased as one of the biggest events in AEW history. It already has the stage set in Chicago and all the teases showing that CM Punk is on his way to AEW, but there seem to be more wrestlers signing with AEW.
Ruby Soho
Firstly, we have Ruby Soho, one of the first ex-WWE women signings. It was seemingly teased through a short video with Ruby trying to catch a train to New York. It’s possible that it could be that Ruby Soho may debut at the AEW New York show, but it looks like she may be the Wild Card in the All Out Casino Royale.
There is also the fact that short films like that aren’t easy to make, and after AEW helping with both Malakai Black and Jon Moxley videos, it seems like AEW helped Ruby create this one.
Buddy Murphy
Another signing seems to be Buddy Murphy. His tease has come the same way as Ruby but has seemingly more story to it. Murphy’s and Malakai Black videos were connected, both based in the same location and actors. It is being heavily teased that their feud within WWE will be rekindled and continued within AEW. It should also be noted that Malakai Black seemingly doesn’t have an ongoing feud and could be preparing for the new feud with Murphy.
Adam Cole
Lastly, we have the one that’s mostly up in the air. Adam Cole‘s contract has already expired but is still competing until the end of the upcoming NXT Takeover. He has had a meeting with Vince. At the moment, nothing has been confirmed. However, in the latest news, Adam Cole has said that no matter what, he won’t be leaving Twitch. It could hint at Adam Cole leaving for AEW as all signs are currently pointing to AEW. Money does talk, but if Adam Cole is anything like Jon Moxley, we could see him in AEW as soon as next week.
