The first fight on the main card between Paul Craig and Jamahal Hill was one that promised to be explosive and did not disappoint. In the days leading up to the bout both had been on fire warming up for the fight.
Although the fight was short-lived, it certainly left everyone in the arena and watching from home gasping for air. Craig would go on to win the victory over a battle-hardened Hill who refused to give up despite suffering a horrific arm fracture.

The fight would start and Hill would change guard and throw a kick to the base. Craig responded with a kick to the body, and from there they slowed the pace. Paul looked to pull guard and there would begin the beginning of the end. The Scotsman attacked the arm and looked to lock in a counter. Hill defended but only for a few moments as Paul adjusted and tried again.
The moment Paul turned his body, Hill’s arm would thunder and go limp. He was in an arm triangle, limb dangling and taking elbows and punches, but not giving up. Craig continues to pound away until the referee intervenes and ends the contest.
When Paul stands up, Jamahal remains seated and that’s when he takes it shows his arm and leaves the arena mute.
