It is now being reported that Kenny Omega Vs. Hangman Page will not be headlining the upcoming PPV All Out set for September 6th in Chicago. The feud between them both has been building now for a while and what is going to happen next is a question a lot of fans are asking, and we are going to try and predict it.
The feud continues to boil
Feud between both Kenny and Page isn’t just between the two. It’s also between the whole elite and Page, including both of the Young Bucks. There is a possibility that the feud may continue through page going up against the Young Bucks. At the end of the elimination match, Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks left. Making it feel like the feud could continue that evolves the other member of the Elite more.
Another member of the Elite hasn’t been involved with any member of the Elite for a while, this being Cody Rhodes. Who is set to face Malakie Black at the Homecoming event on August 20th. It’s possible that Cody Rhodes might be brought into a feud after the Malakai Black feud. Apart from that, it doesn’t feel like much else could happen within the feud without it being paid off in a massive match. They mention that this feud should go on for a long time where we see multiple matches over the year. It is familiar to Kenny Omega Vs. Okada in NJPW.
NJPW Bullet Club Invasion
There is also another feud that is silently bubbling across the surface in other companies. The Elite Vs current NJPW Bullet Club with Jay White coming to Impact Wrestling and setting something up with Kenny Omega. Hikuleo coming to AEW for a match for the USA championship. There is also Kenta that has also appeared in AEW in the past.
It could be bad
There is something that has been teased that might have changed the card of the upcoming PPV. This being the fact that CM Punk is set to debut before the PPV in September on Rampage Last Dance episode set on August 20th. It could be that AEW is pulling a WWE and changing all plans for a Legend. Setting aside big feuds for a one-off match that doesn’t hold much and pushing the Legend rather than the up and comer.
Maybe this is the worst-case scenario. It could be great for the PPV, but it’s what happens after the PPV that could be worrying. Chicago is the best place for the return of CM Punk, but a match against Kenny Omega may not be the best choice with him already cemented into a long time feud.
