This weekend at All Out, Miro is going to get his biggest challenge to date. Lance Archer has been his only threatening opponent since becoming the TNT Champion, that being The Mad King – Eddie Kingston. However, last time he showed up on Rampage, Miro would be attacked by Kingston… and a chink in his armour was found.
Miro Can Redeem Deez Nuts, Eddie Kingston Targets The Neck
Miro would hit the ring and claim that Eddie Kingston is a sinner who must be redeemed, like all other opponents who have stepped up. Kingston isn’t one to let his name be drug through the mud, and would hit the stage. He doesn’t recognize whatever god that apparently favours Miro, and says that he can redeem deez nuts before starting a brawl.
Kingston is someone who grew up on the Four Pillars Of Heaven in AJPW, and his offense is focused on the neck of the opponent. That is the weakness of Miro, and a big DDT tonight planted Miro and did some serious damage, and would stand tall above Miro, something which is unheard of in AEW.
Kris Statlander Overcomes The Odds
At All Out, Kris Statlander’s hard work since returning from injury will finally pay off. She has a shot at the AEW Women’s World Champion, Britt Baker. However, when Baker signed a new deal with AEW, she requested a match as a condition. Statlander has to go against both the dominant Jamie Hayter & the bumbling Rebel tonight. A handicap match so close to All Out is worrying, but Statlander is up to the challenge.
Hayter would start with Statlander, and they’d lock up hard. These are two of the strongest women in AEW, and neither would want to give up. They’d attempt shoulder tackles, before Hayter would get a kick to the gut as Rebel grabbed a handful of hair. Some quick tags between Hayter & Rebel would isolate Statlander. Rebel would throw Statlander across the ring, before being dropped and having Hayter slammed onto her.
Some running knee strikes would nail both ladies, and Statlander was playing this game perfectly. She’d show her power as she help Rebel up in an Electric Chair before catching Hayter with a slam at the same time. Statlander would hit a buzzsaw kick, and Rebel was left in the ring alone to be submitted. After the bell, they wanted to keep the beating coming, surrounding Statlander three on one, but Red Velvet made the save.
