The two AEW Dark shows are showing off some exciting stories. There have been some excellent stories and matches. There is also a new signing that has been confirmed in an episode of Dark Revelation. This has happened a couple of times, most recently with the edition of Skye Blue in the Casino Royale. It’s shocking and gives us the feeling that if a wrestler is that good on a Dark show, it’s possible for them to sign with AEW on the spot.
Who has been signed?
Tony Khan came out on a taping of Dark Revelation and offered a contract to Lee Moriarty, who has been wrestling on Dark since August 17. Then after a match on the Dark Revelation, he got offered a contract and has signed with AEW. The episode will air on the September 13.
Who is Lee Moriarty?
If you don’t know, Lee Moriarty has been signed with MLW, the same place Pilman Jr. was signed. He has also appeared on ROH in the past and had matches with the likes of Wheeler Yuta. Looking through past matches, it is possible that Lee Moriarty could be built to be a very interesting wrestler in AEW.
Where he’ll end up in the future is unknown. Building up wrestlers in time could be a future top star in the company. At the moment, he is only in his 20s and signing with AEW this early in his career could mean we will see a lot of Lee Moriarty in the future.
