When it comes to NXT 2.0, WWE has done a few things right so far. The new set looks great and really freshened up the Capitol Wrestling Center, Von Wagner is a top star in the making, and it finally put Bron Breakker on TV. Real name Bronson Rechsteiner, Bron is the latest of the Steiner family to break into professional wrestling. A former football player, Bron was trained by Rick & Scott Steiner before signing with WWE – where he recently made his debut, and is already looking like the next big thing in WWE.
Bron Breakker Got Praise Before He Even Made His Debut
Seeing as he made his debut defeating LA Knight in under five minutes and is already mingling with the current NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa, it should come as no surprise that WWE has a lot of faith in Bron Brekker. Even before he made his debut, he was getting praise from those working with him backstage at the WWE Performance Center.
He was viewed as someone with huge potential, and we’re already seeing that realized on TV – just two weeks in. Others who were mentioned as having high potential include the Kasper Brothers, who are now the Creed Brothers in The Diamond Mine. Bobby Steveson & Parker Boudreaux were also praised, but are yet to make their TV debut.
Fans Are Already Behind Breakker
WWE is looking for main event level stars right now, and you can’t do much better than Bron Breakker. He’s already shown a lot of physical charisma, the expected level of in-ring skill from someone in the Steiner family, and a hint of Uncle Scotts promo style. Even fans who were wary about the new era of NXT have to agree that he has star potential.
You’ll even see fans calling him the closest thing to a sure thing that WWE has had since The Shield. This is massive praise, and it’d be hard to not see Bron Breakker becoming NXT Champion at the very least, and potentially becoming a major star on Smackdown & RAW. We’ve only gotten glimpses of him in the ring, but a teased match with Ciampa could see him enter deep waters.
