Nothing like some IMPACT! action to help set things right with the week, and we’re all set to get rolling with Impact Wrestling Preview.
We have some fun matches tonight as some feuds start heating up for Victory Road and stipulations could be the difference maker.
Let’s get to the breakdown.
Before The Impact (BTI) – John Skyler vs. Jake Something
Jake Something’s been on a tear lately and having his interview interrupted is a surefire way for Skyler to get his attention.
Now that he has it, we’re sure Skyler is going to find Jake a little harder to defeat than a distracted Matt Cardona, but he’ll come close.
This should be a fun match to get the night started.

Decay (Crazzy Steve, Black Taurus) vs. Fallah Bahh and No Way
After apologizing to Tasha Steelz for costing them then eight person tag match, Fallah Bahh and No Way will look to take care of Crazzy Steve and Black Taurus from Decay.
This should be a fun one simply for the way Bahh and Decay have been playing to the crowd throughout their rivalry.
But while we’re sure Decay will take a couple of bites out of Bahh, we think he and No Way will pull out the win to give them some momentum going forward.
If Rosemary and Havok are there, we suspect Steelz and Savannah Evans won’t be too far away, so we could get two matches in one. Stay tuned.
Rohit Raju and Shera vs. Matt Cardona and Chelsea Green
Chelsea Green saved Matt Cardona from an assault last week, but this week she’ll find herself in the ring and fair game.
This should be interesting to see if Shera’s unwillingness to attack her continues and will his chivalry be the reason she and Cardona win tonight?
The Influence (Madison Rayne, Tenille Dashwood, Kaleb with a K) vs. Taylor Wilde, Jordynne Grace, Rachael Ellering
After helping Wilde avoid a beatdown last week, Grace and Ellering will join her in a six person tag match against The Influence.
This will be a fun match due to the contrasting styles of Rayne and Tenille relying on their cunning and speed while Grace and Ellering use their power.
Wilde will play a huge role in this, and expect her to score the pinfall on Tenille now that she has some backup.
Josh Alexander’s Open Challenge to Former X-Division Champions
Josh Alexander has set himself up as the preeminent champion in Impact Wrestling as he’s taken on all comers and elevated the X-Division Championship higher than it’s been in a while.
Last week he announced he’ll be holding an Open Challenge to any former X-Division Champion for tonight, and this could get interesting.
We could see anyone from TJP, Chris Sabin, Petey Williams, or even a returning former champion as this would be a great way for someone to return and continue passing the torch.
That list could include Michael Bennet or Austin Aries. Plenty of choices and we can’t wait to see who accepts the challenge. We could even get more than one.
Whoever it is, we’re pretty sure this will end up being the match of the night.
Ace Austin w/Madman Fulton vs. Tommy Dreamer
This is another fun one as Ace Austin wanted to teach Tommy Dreamer a lesson after last week has become a dangerous option for the Inevitable one.
If Dreamer wins, then he’ll join Austin and Christian Cage’s match at Victory Road to make it a Triple Threat. If Dreamer loses, then Austin gets a one on one shot.
We love both Austin and Dreamer, and we don’t see how Dreamer could win this at this stage of his career.
But it would really give Austin a headache and uphill climb to defeat Cage if it’s a Triple Threat.
As enticing as that is, we’re sticking with Austin. Baring help from Cage or someone else, we don’t see how Dreamer can win this one.
