Impact Wrestling Results returned and Gia Miller was outside Kenny Omega’s locker room and Don Callis came out and he mocked Tommy Dreamer and Scott D’Amore for firing him.
He said he’s more powerful than them because Omega is Impact champion.
He then went on about Omega’s injuries and he isn’t happy about the working environment.
When he was asked about Jay White arriving, he said he likes certainty and no one told him about it and threw out the idea that maybe he wants to join the Super Elite or just stab people in the back.
Hardcore Country Returns
Mickie James came out to cheers of welcome back from the fans.
She said it feels good to be back, and kicking a champion in the mouth at Slammiversary felt good, too, though it didn’t work out like she anticipated.
She wanted to finish business and she asked for Deonna Purrazzo to come out, and Purrazzo did and she didn’t look happy.
James thanked her and said it wasn’t her intention for Slammiversary to become physical.
She gave another sales pitch to have Purrazzo at NWA Empowerrr on August 28 and offered for her to be a piece of history with her.

Purrazzo said she wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt that she would do the right thing and rectify what she did, but she’s there for herself.
Purrazzo said she needs the Virtuoso as does every company after her exploits, but she needs James to grovel at her face and apologize right there and then.
Purrazzo then threatened to slap her into next week, so Gail Kim came out to address the issue.
Kim said she wanted to clear up the confusion and she told James to come to Slammiversary because she thought it was a great opportunity.
James said she understands Purrazzo as she’s been her and played to her ego about cementing her legacy and asked her to come to NWA Empowerrr and offered her hand.

6 Person Mixed Tag Match – Brian Myers, Sam Beale, and Tenille Dashwood w/Kaleb with a K vs. Matt Cardona, Jake Something, and Chelsea Green
Beale and Jake started it off, and Jake wasted no time in slamming him face first a couple of times. Beale fought back but Jake took him down with a body block off the ropes and a clothesline.
Cardona came in and Beale got loose to tag in Myers who ate a face slam and clothesline in the corner.

Myers gained the upper hand and hit a reverse suplex, then he and Beale went for a double suple but Cardona countered by hitting both with a neckbreaker.
Green and Tenille then faced off, and Green took it to Tenille and hit a Backstabber for a pin attempt Myers broke up.
Kaleb distracted Green from hitting an Unprettier and Taylor Wilde came out and dropped Kaleb from the apron.
Green then hit an Unprettier on Beale for the pin after he accidentally knocked Tenille off the apron.
Backstage, Eddie Edwards challenged W. Morrissey to a fight in the parking lot and headed out of the building.

Edwards was waiting and went right after Morrissey, but Morrissey threw him into the side of a van and then beat on Edwards before using a traffic cone.

Edwards returned the favor and then used a garbage can on Morrissey, and then threw a ice chest at him.
Morrissey deflected it and it a big boot, then spit beer on him before throwing Edwards into the side of the bus.
Morrissey switched to a garbage can and then pulled a luggage strap out from under the truck and choked Edwards with it.
Edwards pulled two Kennys out from under the truck and beat Morrissey with them and Morrissey retreated into the night for the moment.
This was a cool way for Edwards to gain the upper hand and keep their feud alive. Impact Wrestling Results can’t wait to see what Morrissey plans next.
