Lio Rush seemingly retired at the end of August after fulfilling all of his contracts at the time. Before this, however, he appeared in AEW as the Joker card. It was not long after that he announced his retirement and hasn’t appeared on AEW since. Lio Rush seemed to retire at a weird time due to AEW being very interested in signing him. It’s now looking very possible that we may see Lio Rush return to AEW soon.

Where would Lio Rush fit in?
The question of AEW having too big of a roster is starting to rise, but at the moment, there isn’t much to prove this. It’s possible that Lio Rush could become a great part of the AEW Roster. However, he is worried about his body, so becoming part of a tag team could be the best way forward. It was recently reported that Brain Cage is frustrated with being underused. Maybe Lio Rush and Brain Cage could become a tag team in the near future.
