Matt Hardy has had a questionable run in AEW. It started strong but then has gone downhill with his faction consisting of a massive mix of tag teams. However, there is no doubt that Matt Hardy is one of the best creative minds in the business. But through his career, the most successful runs are with his brother, Jeff Hardy, who’s currently being buried on the WWE roster. Matt Hardy has now commented on if Jeff Hardy will come to AEW and bring back the Hardy Boyz.
Matt Hardy’s Comment
“Tony Khan is great, I think he’s really on the pulse of pro wrestling in 2021, and he knows how to utilize everyone from top to bottom. They’re keeping older guys, or veterans, so to say and utilizing them right while also building up talent. Wins and losses matter, and they’re really taking a sports-centred approach that even I had to get used to.”
Matt, after being asked if Jeff will be coming to AEW in the future.
“Fingers crossed, man!”
The Hardys Boyz Vs. The Young Bucks
A dream tag team match to be part of AEW is The Hardy Boyz Vs. The Young Bucks. The match has happened in the past but on a much smaller stage. If this match was to take place on AEW, it would most likely be the most significant stage that the match could take place. Also, there is most likely a lot of AEW fans out there who missed the match when it originally took place. Jeff Hardy’s contract ends around the end of 2022 or the start of 2023 unless he gets released early. This match is still years away.
