Miro has become one of the best TNT champions in AEW history. Going from the ok Best Man gimmick to the Redeemer and God’s Favourite Champion. It proves how good a performer Miro is and why he was so over in WWE before coming to AEW.
Miro beat Darby Allin for the TNT championship, and since then, he’s had some decent feuds. The one that does stand out is Eddie Kingston. It seemed like the feud between both Miro and Eddie would continue, but it’s now been confirmed the next feud for Miro.
Fuego Del Sol is a transitional feud
It was a surprise on AEW Dynamite that Fuego challenged Miro to another match after losing clean on Rampage, but it has now been explained why this is happening. Dave Meltzer is reporting that a rematch between Miro and Fuego is a match that will lead to Miro Vs. Sammy Guevara in the near future. Sammy has said he will be going after championships making this TNT championship on that list. We will most likely see this feud very soon.
Should Sammy Beat Miro for the TNT belt?
If this match does take place soon, it’s hard to say which one should come out on top. It still feels like Miro is still in his early stages of championship run. However, Sammy has been at the top of his game-winning nearly every major match he has been part of and feels like he hasn’t been part of a long time feud for a while. Therefore, we will likely see a rematch between Miro and Eddie before Sammy as looking at the current rankings, Sammy is very low on the ranking and not even in the top five yet, making it seem like this will be a long time feud for both wrestlers.
