With Super Smackdown coming to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of 9/11, the Undertaker is dominating the airwaves and this time it comes curtesy of Netflix announcing a horror movie called “Escape the Undertaker” with the New Day.
This will be an interactive show that looks like the New Day (Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, and Big E) decided visiting the Undertaker’s mansion is a good idea.
They’re going to have a fun adventure where it looks like the New Day will face a series of supernatural challenges.
Be careful whose door you knock on… never know who is on the other side! ⚱️ https://t.co/HKdq2bvx6J

Stepping through the door
The Undertaker helped entice us with a cool Tweet to promote the show on Twitter: “Be careful whose door you knock on… never know who is on the other side!”
As for the show itself, Netflix released this teaser:
“In this interactive film featuring WWE Superstars, The Undertaker has set a trap for the decorated tag team The New Day at his mansion. What they don’t know: The Undertaker’s mansion is an extreme Haunted House, packed to the brim with supernatural challenges. It’s up to viewers to decide the fate of these three poor souls trying to survive the wrath of The Undertaker.”
This looks like a perfect and fun addition to any Halloween watch list as it keeps the Undertaker as a mythical threat we’ve grown to love in the ring.
Perfect setting
Like the article on bloodydisgusting.com says, this looks like the WWE is continuing their cinematic journey with the Deadman.
The Undertaker would be perfect for a series of horror movies in an anthology style similar to Tales From the Crypt where he could be the host.
Or he could be the host and antagonist like in Freddy’s Nightmares, a short lived Nightmare on Elm Street television series.
There’s plenty of possibilities including just making this a Saw-like series with his mansion and a continuous series of traps for the heroes to navigate.
Though we have to admit, after the New Day, we wouldn’t mind seeing some of the other legends take part as well.
Kane (Glenn Jacobs) had his See No Evil series and Steve Austin has a good list of his own, so maybe they’d come back to face the Undertaker in his movies at some point?
Just some possibilities, but first we have to watch Escape the Undertaker. This is going to be a fun ride.
