Prince Harry’s upcoming memoir may focus on targeting Duchess Camilla, and by the looks of it, Harry may not have a pleasant view of her.
Prince Harry May Reveal ‘Camilla’s Secrets’ In His New Book
That is according to Princess Diana’s former butler Paul Burrell. Camilla has a long history in the Royal family, given that she stepped in to replace Diana following her death by becoming the stepmother to her kids.
While there was no visible controversy during her time in the Royal family, that may have been due to the fact that Harry could not speak out given he was in the Royal family himself. Now that he is no longer there, there are no constraints on him.
In an interview with Closer magazine, Paul remarked: “After the reports, she was involved in his parents’ marriage and then stepped into Diana’s shoes as Charles’ wife, I suspect Camilla will be in his sights, so I’d say Harry’s set to reveal any Camilla secrets.”
Harry, for his part, will have to be careful over what he says. He has already angered his father by his interview with Oprah Winfrey on CBS, as Prince Charles felt that such issues should have been discussed behind closed doors rather than in front of the media.
And by doing the same thing again, Harry risks the wrath of his father. Paul added: “[Charles would be] livid. [But Harry has] already said he enjoys The Crown, which painted Camilla as the ‘wicked stepmother’ in a way. Charles will be livid if he does go there.”
And things could be about to get even more telling. Paul has not ruled out Harry going rogue by calling out all those people who had caused him distress during his time in the Royal family.
This would include none other than the person who had allegedly expressed concerns over the skin colour of Archie. Paul continued: “The publisher, Penguin, will no doubt want their money’s worth in this book deal.
“That means they won’t want vagueness – they’ll want names and specifics.” Time will tell what Harry will reveal, but if he does decide to name names, then we can expect there to be some blowback.
