Prince William and Kate Middleton are keeping their eyes firmly on making sure that Queen Elizabeth II is doing well, as part of their Royal duties, rather than what Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may be doing.
Prince William And Kate Middleton Are Not Focused On Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
That is according to Royal expert Nick Bullen. And as a way for William and Kate to do that, they have been doing some work on their foundation entitled ‘The Royal Foundation.’
The aim of the organisation is to promote diversity in the workplace, as well as tackle systemic issues such as bullying and harassment. And the couple have used that work as a way to keep themselves distracted from the obvious pain caused by the rift in the Royal family.
In an interview with Us Weekly, Nick said: “I think the depths of the sadness and split between the two brothers is incredibly deep and incredibly raw, and I think it’s going to take a lot to get the two of them back together.
“I think at the moment William and Kate are focusing on their work.” This is understandable for several reasons. First of all, the Royal family will want to avoid another repeat of a big-style interview as was seen on Oprah Winfrey.
And in order to do that, it is probably wise to keep things cordial rather than forcing any form of relationship between the two brothers. After all, Harry does not seem to be too worried about the tensions in the Royal family.
Instead, he is going to be releasing various books detailing the ins and outs of his experiences. Nick added: “Harry really doesn’t seem to be spending a lot of time thinking about his impact on the family in the U.K.
“So I think they’re both, as Harry put it, on their own paths.” And with the Queen not getting much younger, William and Kate will have to extend their duties.
It is only natural with Harry out of the way. The following comments confirmed as much: “So I think you will see Kate and William really stepping up to support the queen over the next 12 months.”
The future certainly does look challenging for the Royal family. Let us know what you think in the comment section down below. Remember to stay up to date with the latest news on TheOvertimer. Don’t forget to visit Screenstinger for great videos, news, and gameplay!
