The chances of Prince William and Kate Middleton having another child are very slim. That is according to Royal expert Nick Bullen.
Prince William And Kate Middleton Are Unlikely To Have More Kids
The pair already have three children to their name: Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. While there were rumours that the duo could have another, in response to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announcing the recent birth of their daughter Lilibet, the couple are instead going to focus on their Royal duties with their current family.
In an interview with Us Weekly, Nick said: “I think they feel that they’ve got a pretty perfect family. I think Kate was always keen to follow with her parents and have that sort of family of five.
“She’s [now] matched it. And I think my view is [that] they’ll probably stop here.” But it is not just following in her parents’ footsteps that has influenced Kate.
Her actual pregnancies were not a walk in the park. She had reportedly suffered from an extreme case of hyperemesis gravidarum. This is a condition that can lead to extreme amounts of morning sickness.
And now that they are not going to be getting any younger, the pair have decided to focus on their work-related duties. Nick added: “They are really focused, over the next 12 months, on their work.
“Both of them turn 40 next year. They are really keen to be promoting their charities, their initiatives [and] foundation.” And this focus on work does make sense in light of Queen Elizabeth II.
She is already in her nineties and on course to celebrate her Platinum Jubilee next year. This will mark her 70th year in charge as the Queen, but it also shows that she needs a helping hand given the passing of Prince Philip.
That is where William and Kate will be looking to fill the void. Regardless of whether William and Kate have another child, it is clear that they want their children to be involved heavily in the duties of the Royal family.
And with three children already under their belt, they have enough people ready to carry on that legacy. Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
