Prince William and Kate Middleton are worried about the prospect of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle becoming more popular than them in light of their photoshoot with Time Magazine in the United States.

That is according to Royal expert Duncan Larcombe. Harry and Meghan, for their part, were recently named in the top 100 list of the most influential people in the world in Time Magazine.
This is despite them leaving the Royal family and being subjected to mass criticism in response to their interview with Oprah Winfrey on CBS.
Therefore, there is a worry among William and Kate that the two couples could be seen as vying with each other for the most respect amongst the public eye.
In an interview with OK magazine, Duncan said: “Kate and William are in danger of being dragged into a transatlantic popularity contest.
“They will feel anxious over the cover and everything Harry and Meghan do as it always seems to reflect on them.” But it is not only just the photoshoot that has got them worried.
The memoirs that Harry and Meghan are preparing have also gotten their attention. The books are set to be released sometime next year and will give an expose of what went down in the Royal family from the point of view of the couple.
And some of the things that have been hinted at included naming the person who was responsible for expressing concerns over the skin colour of Archie. That is why Kate and William are feeling nervous.
He added: “William and Kate are concerned about absolutely everything that comes out of America in regards to Harry and Meghan, especially Harry’s tell-all warts and all memoir that’s gonna hit the shelves sometime next year.
“They have no control over the narrative.” Despite the concerns, there is still plenty of time for public opinion to change. With the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee coming up next June, there is every chance that the whole Royal family could be viewed positively if they patch things up.
