Prince William and Prince Harry are set to put their troubles behind them by coming together for the sake of their late grandfather Prince Philip.
Prince William And Prince Harry Are To Appear In A Documentary Honouring Prince Philip
In order to pay homage to Philip, who died at the age of 99, the two brothers have decided to participate in a documentary entitled ‘Prince Philip: The Royal Family Remembers.’
It is set to air on September 9th, 2021 and will celebrate the life of Philip, including a look at how much of a contribution he had made to the Royal family.
This documentary will also include Queen Elizabeth II, as well as her grandkids, who will give their take on Philip.
In a statement given by the BBC, fans can expect to see the following: “[We will see] poignant recollections, plenty of humour and numerous fresh insights into the character and legacy of this royal pioneer.”
The documentary, though, will also be significant given that it will truly be the first time that the brothers have spoken to each other without any tension.
Although they did come together at Philip’s funeral, tensions were still high given by the nature of the behaviour. Harry and William had initially walked separately from each other while the latter made a quick exit following the ceremony.
Nevertheless, the documentary has plenty to offer. The statement added: “With special access to the Queen’s private cine-film collection, this film is an unrivalled portrait of a man with a unique place in royal history.”
Despite the documentary, Philip has been a divisive figure. He had a history of making numerous gaffes with accusations that he had held racist views. One such incident occurred when he made a visit to China.
During a trip, he had reportedly told students the following: “If you stay here much longer, you will all be slitty-eyed.” Regardless of what Philip may have done, the fact that William and Harry are going to come together can only be a good thing.
There has been so much bad blood between them ever since Harry came out with his Oprah Winfrey interview, now would be the time to put it all to bed.
