Prince William has released a trailer for his new documentary entitled ‘The Earthshot Prize: Repairing Our Planet.’
Prince William Releases A Trailer For His New Documentary
This is an attempt to counter the growing influence that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been garnering with their first public appearance together since their controversial interview with Oprah Winfrey on CBS.
The documentary is hoping to show ways in which people can help to protect the environment, and in doing so, improve the lives of ordinary citizens.
In a post to his followers on Twitter, William shared a preview of the trailer. In the clip, William is heard saying the following: “This is a moment for hope, not fear.
“It’s for this very reason that I launched the Earthshot Prize, the most ambitious environmental prize in history. A decade of action to repair our planet.”
This release coincides with Harry and Meghan’s appearance in New York at The World Trade Centre Observatory. While there is nothing to suggest that William wants to outdo his brother, the timing is significant in light of the fact that Harry and Meghan will have a US tour.
Having said all that, the brothers will be putting aside their rivalry as they remember their late mother, Princess Diana. The brothers could be about to reunite at the Diana Awards.
This is an event held at the place where Diana grew up in Northamptonshire, and it aims to recognise and empower young people who want to make a change in the world.
And with the pandemic significantly shaping the future of the next generation, this event is vital to show that the youth can make a difference.
Tessy Ojo, who happens to be the chief executive of the Diana Awards, would love the prospect of Harry and William reuniting but would be happy either way. In an interview with The Daily Mail, she said: “To us, it doesn’t matter where in the world they are.”
Time will tell who the public resonates with more, whether that be William or Harry, but one thing we do know is that the brothers will continue to have influence in the world.
If they use that for the benefit of giving back, then that can only be commended. Let us know what you think in the comment section down below. Remember to stay up to date with the latest news on TheOvertimer. Don’t forget to visit Screenstinger for great videos, news, and gameplay!
