Queen Elizabeth II will be left feeling disappointed and proud by the release of Prince Harry and Prince William’s respective books.

That is according to Royal expert Duncan Larcombe. Harry, for his part, has made his stance clear. He is going to expand on the experiences that he went through during his time in the Royal family, despite the fact that he threw it out all in the open with his Oprah Winfrey interview.
That has gotten the Queen feeling nervous, whereas William has decided to release a book entitled: Earthshot: ‘How to Save Our Planet.’ This book is aimed at encouraging people to unite to tackle the problem of climate change.
Naturally, that has gone down well with the Queen. In an interview with OK magazine, Duncan remarked: “He’s putting himself absolutely at the forefront of the environmental movement.
“The Queen will be very proud, especially as he’s following in the footsteps of Prince Philip, who was the original environmentalist at a time when he was almost alone in his thinking.”
This should hardly be a surprise, as each of their books have a different role in remembering Prince Philip. Harry’s book will touch upon further Royal disputes, which were first talked about openly at the time when Philip was hospitalised before his death.
Any additional comments in that regard are only going to stoke up further pain and resentment. That is why the Royals are distancing themselves from Harry’s book.
Duncan added: “The royals never speak out, so Harry writing his memoirs will be making a sensational break from everything the Queen’s reign has stood for.
“It doesn’t matter if Harry writes that the royals are the nicest people in the world. It will still be seen as the ultimate betrayal.” There is still plenty of time for Harry to pull a plug on things, as the book would not be released until later next year.
But by going ahead, he risks cutting himself off from the Royal family forever. Duncan’s following comments confirmed as much: “Any friends of the royals who have gone public or written books are cut off and never spoken to again.”
