Last week, former three time CZW World Champion and known deathmatch wrestler Joe Gacy showed a different side of himself. He’s looking to tackle issues like male privilege, prevent microaggressions, and make the ring a safe space. This drew the ire of many fans, and tonight he will continue his crusade – and hopefully not get caved in by Cameron Grimes this time.
Joe Gacy Is An Inclusive Man
He’d get into the ring once again, and still claim the ring is a safe space. Last week on NXt 2.0, he made a huge impact – and will not be cancelled. He made a bigger impact than superstars like Tommaso Ciampa, Bron Brekker and Roderick Strong.
Doing this with just his words proved that he’s enlighted, while others live in a darkened world. The locker room was triggered – and he didn’t know why. He is here for everyone, and wants to make NXT 2.0 a better place. Gacy wants to make it a new normal for everyone.
Xyon Quinn Drops Oney Lorcan
Xyon Quinn would hit the ring, known as The Samoan Ghost. His opponent tonight is former NXT Tag Team Champion, Oney Lorcan. Quinn would hit the shoulder tackle and drop Lorcan with ease. Lorcan would get him into the corner and throw some heavy strikes – only to be launched across the ring. A throat chop took Quinn’s breath away, and a sleeper hold would but once he got free he’d run Lorcan down with a massive lariat.
The Samoan Drop landed, and Lorcan was struggling. He’d measure Lorcan up, and nail the running forearm strike for the big win. Not a great match given the history of Oney Lorcan, but an okay showing for Xyon Quinn. He shows some potential, but needs longer matches to prove himself a proper star.
MSK Is Here In NXT 2.0, and Have A Trio Of Challengers
Since NXT 2.0 began, the NXT Tag Team Champions MSK haven’t been around. However tonight they’re in the building, and have something to say. When asked what’s next for MSK is what we’re used too – smoking the tag team division. Just becoming champion wasn’t enough, they want to keep taking the fight to the roster.
Grizzled Young Veterans would interrupt and say that MSK aren’t fighting champions because they’ve never got their two on two match. Carmelo Hayes would interject himself alongside Trick Williams and say that maybe he wants a tag team title shot with his Breakout title shot. MSK would retake focus and say that if they want a shot they just need to take one. Finally Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen would come join the conversation and just start a fight.
Who will challenge MSK? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
