Kay Lee Ray made her debut for NXT at Takeover 36, looking to take over another division like she did in the UK. However, competition is stiff here, and she needs wins to climb the ranks. After a clash with Amari Miller earlier in the night, she’d get a chance to get a win in the ring.

Kay Lee Ray Runs Through Amari Miller

Before we’d get to the match we found out when Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen decided to be a team. They got in a bar fight after Briggs lost the NXT Breakout tournament. They earned respect for their toughness, and are looking to use that to run the division. Fair enough, they’re no The Bar but they’ll do.

Miller would say that she’s a top level athlete, but it takes more than that to beat The Scary Queen Of Scots! KLR would take some forearm blows, with Miller really coming out of the gates hot. A quick neckbreaker got a one count, before KLR nailed a huge dropkick and some vicious stomps. KLR would be showing why she was champion in the UK for 649 days as she just grabbed the KLR Bomb and got the easy win.

Dante Chen Makes An Instant Impact In NXT 2.0

We’d see the first ever WWE superstar from Singapore make their debut, with Dante Chen. Finding info on him was near impossible, but what happens on TV is what matters most and he has a big chance to prove himself tonight. He’d have Trey Baxter as an opponent, a skilled high flyer who proved himself in the Breakout Tournament.

A big entrance signalled the first appearance of Dante Chen, who was scouted in Hong Kong. Baxter would lock up with Chen, before being driven into the corner. Chen was taken down and Baxter wanted to fly, before being yanked down. An inside cradle driver from Chen got the win, in a very short match.

    Did Someone Say ANDRE CHASE?

Andre Chase is now teaching classes on how to defeat Odyssey Jones, after he blew his chance in the NXT breakout tournament. Jones was caught with a roll up by Hayes. However, when called out by a student on losing to Jones, he’d be thrown out in a rage. This is a good gimmick for Chase, if not a bit silly.

Do you think Dante Chen will be a big star in NXT? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
