Hello and welcome to Impact Wrestling Results!
This is our last stop before Bound For Glory this Saturday, and it looks like we’re going to have some fun matches tonight.
Without further ado, let’s get to the action!
Before The Impact (BTI) – W. Morrissey vs. Jake Something
This is going to be a fun physical match and we can’t wait.
Their first lockup was a draw, so they exchanged blows instead, and Morrissey sent Jake to the floor with a clothesline.
After bouncing Jake off the ring post, Morrissey backdropped him off the apron to the floor where they exchanged rights again before Jake rolled into the ring.
Morrissey continued his early dominance with a splash and a series of strikes before he locked in a neck hold.
Jake fought back, but wasn’t able to hit a suplex and Morrissey body slammed him instead, then hit a trio of elbow drops.

Jake continued to try to fight back and Morrissey had an answer, whether it was a suplex of simply throwing Jake across the ring.
Morrissey continued to hammer away on Jake, but jake hit a Lou Thez Press off the ropes to give himself a chance. He followed it with a series of forearms and a shoulder in the corner.
Morrissey caught him with a kick to halt his momentum, but Jake hit a Falcon Arrow for a near pinfall, and then hit a dive on the floor.
Jake kept up the pressure with everything he had, but Morrissey hit a big boot off the ropes for the win.
For a while we thought Jake was going to get mauled, but we’re glad he fought back and came close a couple of times. A good way to start the night.
Impact Tag Team # 1 Contenders Match – FinJuice (Juice Robinson, David Finlay) vs. The Bullet Club (Chris Bey, Hikuleo)
Bey and Finlay started it off and Bey tagged in Hikuleo. Finlay went after Hikuleo, but he ate a shoulder block instead and then Bey came back in.
Finlay hit a knee and tagged in Robinson to hit a senton for a pin attempt. Robinson the bounced him off a couple of turnbuckles but Bey blocked his next attempt and tagged in Hikuleo.
Robinson and Finlay took it to Hikuleo with a double team bulldog for a pin attempt. Hikuleo then caught Finlay off the ropes for a sidewalk slam and pin attempt.
Bey tormented Finlay by raking his back and stomping his fingers before dropping him with a step up kick for a pin attempt that didn’t get to a one count.
Robinson tagged in and backdropped Bey across the ring and knocked Hikuleo off the turnbuckle and into a cameraman before he went back to beating on Bey and hitting a cannonball.
A HUGELY controversial ending with a double pinfall – who are the number one contenders?! #IMPACTonAXSTV @DashingChrisBey @Hiku_Leo @THEdavidfinlay pic.twitter.com/yrFnezx9TR

Finley picked Bey up for a slam and accidentally took out the ref. Hikuleo choke slammed Finlay and put Bey on him for a near pinfall when a second ref came in.
Finlay countered an Art of Finesse with a jumping neckbreaker, and Robinson and Hikuleo came in and Robinson took it to him.
Hikuleo hit a powerslam off the ropes, then caught Finlay’s crossbody attempt.
Finlay slipped loose and Robinson hit a stunner, then he tolled up Hikuleo while Bey rolled up Finlay for a double pin to end it in confusion as the refs argued back and forth.
The refs conferred and the replay showed the ref counted to three in unison.
Scott D’Amore deals with chaos
Backstage, the two teams and refs kept fighting and Scott came in to settle things as only he can.
Scott said he’ll make the decision by the end of the night. Impact Wrestling Results can’t wait to see what his answer will be.
