Impact Wrestling has been moving in a great direction over the past year. They had Kenny Omega as the Impact Wrestling Heavyweight Champion, before a legend of the company in Christian Cage claimed it from him. Josh Alexander has proven himself as one of the best wrestlers in the world. They’ve gotten fans back in the arena, and could even be bringing in former WWE Universal Champions Bray Wyatt & Braun Strowman. However all of this comes secondary to them having sold all available tickets for their upcoming Bound for Glory PPV event.
Bound For Glory Is Sold Out
This event will happen on October 23rd, and is taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada at Sam Town’s Live. While it’s not the biggest venue, it can comfortably hold about 1000 fans – though Impact Wrestling might have limited the amount that were available as a precaution to protect both fans and talent. This is important as COVID-19 still very much in play.
They have announced that everything has been sold ticket wise. However, once they finalize the production setup, more seats could be made available. This will be their biggest show since the pandemic took fans away, and one of their best cards. Impact Wrestling aren’t exactly the best promotion running shows, but they’re easily one of the most consistent in the game today.
The Card Shows Great Promise
The card has some big matches, with a main event of Christian Cage defending the Impact World Championship against Josh Alexander. Deonna Purrazo defends the Knockouts Championship against Mickie James, The Iconics make their debut in a Knockouts Tag Team Championship match against Rosemary and Havok. Trey Miguel, El Phantasmo and Steve Maclin battle for the now vacant X-Division championship, in what might well steal the show. The Good Brothers will defend the Impact Tag Team Championships, likely against Juice Robinson & David Finlay.
Add in the potential debut of Braun Strowman, and whatever other surprises Impact have up their sleeves – and we could be seeing their best show all year.
