NXT 2.0 has now had a steady decline in views in recent months. The ratings are getting dangerously close to below 600,000, with the rating currently standing at 632,000. If this viewership continues to drop, it will hit a new low very soon. However, I know that USA Network has commented on the viewership dip over the past month after the massive change from NXT to NXT 2.0.
What USA Network said about the viewership
Originally reported by Andrew Zarian, who reached out to USA Network and this one their response:
“‘The is all to bring a new younger viewer who is connected with pop culture & trends. Needless to say, the demo numbers are disappointing, but we are hopeful this is just a bump in the road.'”
What does this mean for NXT?
At the minute, it’s not looking good, and now even the network is starting to worry about the current viewership. What will happen if this continues is unknown. It’s possible that the viewership may even drop further with the massive changes just put in place. This may be very bad for NXT in the future.
