Adam Cole has mentioned that WWE had put their point across of really wanting Britt Baker to sign with WWE. How they did this is unknown, but there is mention that they didn’t go over any contracts. It’s most likely due to both Britt Baker and Adam Cole visiting each other at both companies.

The main eventer in NXT?
Looking through the past in WWE and AEW. It’s likely that we wouldn’t see Britt Baker main event multiple shows. There is also a massive possibility that Britt Baker would have been put in NXT rather than the main roster.
We have seen so many wrestlers be booked in weird directions, and with Adam, Cole rumours suggest he would be made a manager and have a shaved head. So maybe Britt Baker staying in AEW is the best choice.
