Fans met Geoffery Paschel when he appeared on the spin-off, 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, and they found out that he had an interesting past. He allegedly assaulted his then-girlfriend on June 9, 2019.

An affidavit stated that the girlfriend claims Geoffrey, who wan intoxicated, “grabbed her by the neck and slammed her head against a wall several times” before he threw her to the ground. She ran to a neighbour’s home, where police found her on arrival.
The police officers noted injuries on her body, including “a large raised bruise on (her) forehead and abrasions on her elbows and knees.” A paramedic at the scene said the victim “displayed common signs of a concussion.” When Geoffrey was confronted, he said that her injuries were self-inflicted.
According to reports, the 90 Day Fiancé alum was initially taken to custody, but the affidavit stated that he “attempted to kick out the windows of the patrol vehicle.” He was charged with kidnapping, domestic assault, interference with an emergency call, and vandalism.

On finding out about this, 90 Day Fiancé viewers demanded that he be fired from the show, so he was left out of all tell-alls and reunions. He even told fans that he would do his own tell-all at the right time. Geoffrey’s trial was postponed a few times and the pandemic added to the postponements.
It was at this time that he met Russian beauty, Varya Malina, whom he started a long-distance relationship that earned them their feature on Season 4 of Before the 90 Days.
The TLC alum was hauled out of court in handcuffs and will be sentenced on December 3. Goeffrey is facing 8-30 years on the aggravating kidnapping charge. If he had not been found guilty of aggravated kidnapping, he would have spent 11 months in jail.
Court TV shared a video of the reading of the verdict, and viewers will notice what seems to be a wedding band on the table in front of Geoffrey. Does this mean he got married again? Mary Wallace, who is his friend from 90 Day Fiancé is also present in the courtroom.
