With Survivor Series only a few days away, we thought it’d be fun to put together a dream card of who we’d like to see face off between AEW and WWE.
This isn’t about picking the winners for us, just putting together what we think would be some fun matches heading into one of the WWE’s Big Four pay-per-views.
This is our personal choices, so feel free to disagree and share your own picks in the comments below.
We also have to admit, Fozzy’s “Judas” feels like the perfect theme song for this card.
Champion vs. Champion vs. Champion Triple Threat Elimination – Adam Page vs. Roman Reigns vs. Big E
This is a tough one since the WWE has two champions and a triple threat seems the easy and fairest way to handle this, so we’re pitting Hangman Adam Page against Roman Reigns and Big E in a triple Threat Elimination.
Since a triple threat tends to let some (Reigns) sneak in and steal a win, we thought an elimination style of match between the three would be a fun way to go.
This way, they each have to take part and biding their time could backfire when someone’s eliminated.
Champion vs. Champion vs. Champion Triple Threat Elimination – Britt Baker vs. Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair
Once again, WWE’s desire to market more championships gives us the opportunity for a triple threat elimination match between the women’s champions and we’re going to continue following out elimination format.
It just makes it so much more interesting to see who will side with who in this one.
Grudge Match – Christian Cage vs. Edge
Okay, who doesn’t want to see this? When we look at Christian coming out at the Royal Rumble and realize it wasn’t a reunion but a goodbye of sorts, the story just writes itself. Plus, it’ll be an awesome match.
MJF vs. The Miz
This would simply be fun to see the two biggest talkers go head to head. We may not even get a match as they could talk each other into submission.
Kenny Omega vs. Seth Rollins
Who wouldn’t want to see this? Nothing like two of the greats still in their prime facing off for bragging rights ass to who is the greatest of this generation.
Traditional Elimination 5 Man Tag Match – Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson, Cody, Chris Jericho, CM Punk vs. Randy Orton, Bobby Lashley, Riddle, Sheamus, Drew McIntyre
Nothing like some formers WWE stars joining the fight against the current crop to defend AEW’s honor.
This would be an awesome match with so much talent in the ring, it could go for an hour and we wouldn’t complain.
Traditional Elimination 5 Women Tag Match – Ruby Soho, Riho, Tay Conti, Ivelisse, Hikaru Shida vs. Liv Morgan, Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, Sasha Banks, Asuka
Like the men’s match, we expect great things from this one as the combined talent of off the charts and we’d get to see friends face off and others having to put aside their differences to coexist.
