Prince Harry is facing calls to cancel his reported £100 million deal with Netflix on the grounds that the network’s other show, ‘The Crown’ has disrespected the memory of his late mother, Princess Diana.

The show is based on the revelations that were given to reporter Martin Bashir during his interview with Diana in 1995.
And given that Martin had also interviewed the late Michael Jackson prior to the allegations that he was involved in child abuse, many people have criticised Harry for remaining silent in response to the matter.
Some of the topics that the show will touch upon include Diana’s divorce from Prince Charles, as well as her connections to Hasnat Khan and Dodi Fayed.
Jemima Khan, who happened to be a close friend of Diana, was brought on board in order to help give a realistic portrayal of her friend. And yet, she has cut ties with the show on the grounds that it would not be respecting her.
That is why others have called on Harry to follow suit. Angela Levin, who happens to be the author of ‘Harry: A Biography of a Prince’, had a lot to say.
In an interview with The Sun, she said: “Harry has remained absolutely silent about Netflix. He should tear the deal up and make a stand for his mother.” If Harry were to speak out, then there is the feeling that his deal with Netflix would be over.
Given that he has left the Royal family and cannot rely on them bankrolling his lifestyle, in addition to the fact that he has two children to look after as well as his wife Meghan Markle, things are not going to be easy for him.
That is why Harry has chosen to ignore the criticism. He wants to do what is best for him, but not everyone thinks he is doing the right thing.
Ingrid Seward, who happens to be the Majesty Magazine, remarked: “I don’t think Harry gets it. I presume when he did the deal with Netflix, he didn’t think it through – but Meghan would have. She’s not an idiot.”
