Royal Expert Claims Queen Elizabeth II Has A Reported Secret Facebook Account
That is according to Royal expert Jonathan Sacerdoti. The Royal family, for their part, do have their own Instagram account where they post pictures of various Royal functions that they attend.
While that is seen as an attempt to show the world just how much they give back to the community, it is fascinating to see the Queen having an account in her personal capacity.
In an interview with Us Weekly, Jonathan said: “There’ve been reports that the Queen has a secret Facebook account, which I can’t quite believe [because] she is 95 years old.”
This begs the question, why would the Queen have it? Well, as can be expected, there is no news on who she follows, as well as those who may be on her friend’s list. With that in mind, we can only speculate on who these people could be.
And having done that, it would suggest that she keeps tabs on members of the Royal family that she may not see often. He added: “So, I have trouble sometimes with new technology, but she seems completely able to pick these things up.
“We saw her during lockdown with all the Zoom calls and the video calls. And now, since her health’s been not quite as good as it was in the past, she’s been doing more [appearances] that way.”
Naturally, it is normal to ask whether the Queen uses it on a regular basis. By all accounts, she is managing to get to grips with it.
Nevertheless, it is important to remember that the Queen did suffer from troubles when she undertook a recent Zoom video call. In the video here, it is clear that the Queen is having some issues. Having said that, though, she has come a long way since then.
Jonathan continued: “And now we find out about the Facebook account. It’s extraordinary to think how readily and easily she picks up these new technologies.”
